USC Verdugo Hills Hospital’s family education program offers babysitting classes tailored for boys and girls ages 11-15. Each class is a single, one-time session and is limited in size.
What you will learn:
- Infant/child CPR
- Basic first aid
- Home/auto safety
- Accident prevention
- Telephone skills
- Safety tips
- When to call 9-1-1
- Poison control
- Fire/earthquake plans
Upon completion of the course, you will receive an Infant/Child CPR participation card and a babysitting certificate.
Please bring a bag lunch and a drink.
