Infant CPR and Safety

This class is designed for new or expectant parents, grandparents, babysitters or anyone who deals with infants, from birth to one year, on a regular basis.

What We Will Cover

The course is designed in conjunction with the guidelines established by the American Heart Association. Attendees can expect to learn:

  • Child CPR (1 to 8 years old) will be briefly addressed.
  • Choking Maneuvers
  • Electrical Safety
  • Household Hazards
  • Infant Resuscitation
  • Poison Prevention
  • Specialized CPR Skills
  • Water Safety

    $30 per person, if you are delivering at USC-VHH
    $35 per person, if you deliver elsewhere

  • Note: This class requires a separate registration for each individual.

    This class is 2 hours long.

    This class meets twice each month.

      • Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
      • Monday and Wednesday, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

  • When is the ideal time to take this class for best results

    The ideal time to take this class is between the sixth and eighth month of your pregnancy. This class is limited to the first 12 registrants, so please fill out the form below to secure your spot.
