In an effort to encourage greater price transparency and to empower consumers, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires all hospitals to make their standard charges readily available online. At USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, we believe that our patients should have all the tools they need to make informed health care decisions.
Below are links to our charge description masters. Each charge description master lists prices for services, procedures and goods with separate charges.
Please note the following:
- The prices listed do not necessarily reflect out-of-pocket costs.
- Individual out-of-pocket expenses are based on the services received, insurance coverage and negotiated rates with insurers.
- The charge description masters do not reflect rates that have been negotiated with insurers.
- If you receive services that are subject to coinsurance, the negotiated rate will be used to calculate out-of-pocket costs.
We recommend that you contact your insurer to determine your financial responsibility, including copayments, coinsurance percentages and annual deductibles.
