Occupational Therapy Personalized for You

Our USC Verdugo Hills Hospital Occupational Therapy team offers a wide range of skilled services provided by our highly trained and experienced therapists. We provide individualized rehabilitation programs that may consist of custom splint fabrication, therapeutic exercise, lymphedema management, activities of daily living training and more to treat a variety of conditions. We specialize in treating injuries to the shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist and hand, including impairments resulting from cancer or post-cancer treatment. We also offer occupational therapy, if you have mobility issues caused by stroke, Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions. Our goal is to promote your safe return to a maximum level of functional independence.

Hand Therapy

Our occupational therapists are trained in advanced hand therapy procedures and treatments to restore lost function and help you regain your independence.

Lymphedema Management

Our lymphedema specialists provide care for postoperative and/or cancer-related swelling and scar management to help you improve and maintain mobility.

Neurological Management

We offer specialized treatment, if you have had a stroke, traumatic brain injury or have been diagnosed with a neurological condition, such as Parkinson’s disease.

We offer specialized care for a full range of conditions and issues that affect independence, mobility and quality of life, including:

  • Arthritis
  • Cancer-related lymphedema
  • Chronic venous insufficiency
  • Fractures, sprains and strains
  • Nerve entrapment disorder, such as carpal tunnel syndrome
