Orthopaedics program

The orthopaedics program at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital delivers comprehensive care to patients with orthopaedic conditions seeking to increase mobility and decrease pain. With nationally ranked orthopaedic surgeons, personalized pain management and physical therapy treatments designed to shorten your recovery, we can help you return to your favorite activity or sport.

We offer many advanced procedures designed to preserve and restore joints, ligaments and tendons. We can even stimulate the growth of new cartilage to alleviate pain and delay or prevent arthritis. We perform knee replacements, hip replacements and fracture repairs. Through extensive work with professional and collegiate athletes, some of our surgeons have developed sports-specific protocols that help prevent future injury by strengthening affected muscles and ligaments – protocols we employ at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital.

Pre- and Post-Op Care

USC Verdugo Hills Hospital includes a full-service Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. Beginning six weeks pre-op and typically continuing at least three months post-op, this team helps patients prepare for surgery and restore range of motion while helping prevent future injuries.

Collaborative Team Approach

Our renowned orthopaedic surgeons work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists and nurses to ensure each patient gets comprehensive care, from diagnosis and treatment through rehabilitation, all close to home.

The Latest Surgical Advances

We offer the latest treatments, including minimally invasive techniques for faster recoveries and procedures that stimulate new cartilage growth. Our sports medicine experts deliver sport-specific therapies designed to help athletes prevent re-injury.
